This is the same brand/style tuxedo that Leonardo DiCaprio wore to the 2016 Oscar Awards  (seen in main photo).

Things to keep in mind about measurements

hese measurements are from laying the garment completely flat on the floor. There is no need for doubling, simply take a suit/jacket/pant that fits you from your closet, lay flat on the floor, and compare the two measurements
Every single measurement on a suit can and will be altered to fit you perfectly by a tailor, with the exception of the shoulder measurement. The shoulders are the only thing a tailor cannot adjust. Pant and arm length will be shortened to your specifics, a jacket length can be shortened, a pant waist can be taken in/made smaller as much as needed
(and let out/made bigger up to 2.5 inches),
and even the chest can be taken in from the center seam. I have experience in working alongside a tailor shop for many years, so if you have any questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to reach out to me =)

If an Italian suit/tuxedo is a 50R on the tag, you would need to subtract 10 and you would get the US size, which in this example would be 40R.
