There are certain brands in the fashion world which have survived the test of time and are as iconic today as they were 50 years ago. GUCCI is is definitely at the top of this group and deservingly so.
Today we are listing two vintage enameled chain link belts which are prime examples of why the designer’s reputation and desirability is stronger than ever. This one is white enamel over gold tone metal links in very good vintage condition. Dating from the 1970’s, there is a small scratch on one of the links and the gold by the small closure gold rings are slightly worn. Neither is detectable when the belt is worn.
The belt measures 35” long with each link measuring approximately 1 1/2” long by 1/2” wide. Each white disc has the double G Gucci logo in gold over a blue colored base. The bar closure is engraved Made in Italy and GUCCI. This is one fabulous collectible which, along with the cobalt blue enamel belt listed separately, will give you years of continuing use and pleasure.
What you are looking at is belt you will receive
Needs a good polish with your favorite shoe polish but solid, sturdy and as they say "THEY DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THEY USED TO"
That is for sure in this case. A beautiful black belt with brass buckle, I just don't wear belts anymore
From the 80's, stamped with what I believe to mean size 32, belt actually measures 34 inches. 1 and 1/4" wide
